So have you ever wasted time before? Maybe five minutes or an hour. Or days and years. For me, wasting time became a habit. Why do I say that? I spent hours upon hours mediating on what people could be saying about me, my past mistakes, and gazing upon people’s dreams instead of my own. When you add up every minute you spend being jealous, comparing yourself, fearing the unknown, or just being straight up unorganized, that’s time wasted that you will never get back. God gave everyone something to do but sadly some of us will never do it. I say that because we spend time concentrating on unnecessary things. We have dreams and goals that are lying dormant within us. Instead of pushing them out, we focus on the past and refusing to move forward in life. Trust me I wasted so much time doing those things. Watching everyone else go up while I sit back looking mean and believing every lie the devil spoke to me. The devil robbed a lot of us but we open the door to him. Who fault is it? Our fault! Starting right now, don’t waste another second. One of my goals is to commit to a schedule. Getting up in the morning to pray, writing atleast once a day, and focusing on one thing at a time are some of the things I want to accomplish with my schedule. I have made schedules before but never follow through. The thought of getting organized can be exciting but the work can be daunting.
Of course, things happen in our lives that we are unprepared for but it should not make a slave out of us. You are in control of your time. Do not spend no more time in the wrong relationship, unforgiveness, comparison, depression, procrastination, and any unnecessary or hindering activity. We not going to give account of what someone else did but what we did with our time on Earth.
So let’s have a “breakup” party 🎉!!! Break up with the habit of wasting time ;).
