Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

I’m Different…Deal With It

First, please don’t be alarm by the title because I assure you that this post is not a rant ;). Second, I want to address this to you personally. One question I want to ask is “Do you truly appreciate how different God made you?” Trust me, the answer may not be as simple as you think. When jealousy, comparison, and rejection become the forefront of our lives, we will never learn how to embrace who God made us to be. This is something I struggled with for years because I didn’t like who I was based on what people said and my own negativity. I wasted valuable time pretending to be someone I wasn’t so I can be accepted by this person or that person. Psalm 139:13-14 speaks on how God made us from the inside and out. He molded how you act, how you think, and carefully put you together in the womb of your mother. We were not put together hastily but God planned out every life that enters this Earth. Why get upset because I don’t look a certain way or have the same ability like someone else? Or drown in self pity because I had to go through a certain situation or deal with crazy issues? No! Nothing in your life happened by accident because God has a purpose for every heartbreak, setback, and every day you live on this Earth. Don’t despise who God made you to be but learn how to deal with it by exploring your gifts and appreciating God for making “You”. If “You” were not important or had too many issues like you claim, then God wouldn’t waste His time creating you. He knew that you were needed on this Earth and decided to place you in a specific city, with specific parents, and in a specific year so His plans can be fulfill in You. So a great way to end this post is to challenge you as well as myself. Take time today to reflect on your life. Start thanking God for “You” and praise Him for everything you had to encounter up to this point to fulfill the great plan for your life. Instead of getting mad at people for pushing you aside, go look in the mirror and tell yourself, “I’m Different….Deal With It!” Remember God doesn’t make copies but originals!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
