Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

Throw It Away

Here is my truth: If I want to be healed, I want to be healed ALL THE WAY. Not a little bit…not some but whole. One of the hardest things that can be difficult to do is to throw away something that is precious to us, even if we outgrown it or have no use for it anymore. What would be the point of holding on to a shirt that I obviously cannot fit anymore? To me, I will feel ridiculously in public wearing something that tight when I can wear something that is exactly my size that will look great on me. It is hard to let go of certain things when we feel like we “really do need it” until we come into the knowledge that there is something better. When it comes to embracing new opportunities, relationships, or healing, we have to be willing to let go of the “old” things or they will be a hindrance to you striving for those new things. We cannot go through life holding on to “junk” in our hearts and “trash” in our minds and expect to move forward. We have to take out the trash.

So that trash is….

Unforgiveness. Bitterness. Wrong relationships/friendships.

Negative thought patterns. Jealousy. Selfishness. Rejection.

Condemnation. Fears of forward movement. Procrastination.

Reminders of past abuse, trauma, and toxic environments

No more relying on our aches and pains to get us through life. No more relying on our fears and hesitations to act as excuses for us not growing and maturing in the way we need to. Trash stinks. What pleasant thing can you attract to you if you are smelling bad? Nothing but flies (negative thoughts about ourselves), roaches (bad habits), and rats (actions that keep you stuck in the Past). So whatever is holding you back….THROW IT AWAY!

Have a nice night, overcomers!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
