Do not be afraid to start over. I’m going to start a few posts this week with that statement. Sometimes we allow the “cloud of perfection” or the “ladder of high expectations” to determine how far we go in life. When we approach a new venture in life and it does not yield the results we were looking for, we tend to give up and never look back at it again. Now, I do believe there are some things that are not meant to be “resurrected” (i.e. past relationships, jobs, bad business ideas, places you left, etc.), because those “failures” act as a door for you to leave a fruitless thing. This allows you to enter something new. Do not throw away your dreams. If you dreamed of having a family, do not allow a bad breakup or exes to destroy your faith of becoming a wife or husband in a loving marriage. If you dreamed of graduating with your college degree or a higher one, do not allow past failures to stop you from finishing. If you dreamed of becoming whole from past trauma and pain, do not become stagnant in your healing process. God gives us dreams for a reason: To walk in faith toward the impossible that He wants to make possible. Life does not wait for anyone so you have to keep moving with it. Start over. Give it another shot. Don’t give up.
As always feel free to comment and leave your thoughts. Good day, dreamers and visionaries!
