Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

….Grow Up

Maturity is confrontation….

I have come to a point that I am tired of dealing with certain struggles and ready to move on. When it comes to being “grown”, it has nothing to do with your age but your decision-making. You have plenty of “grown” folks with jobs, families to take care of, and a place to stay but still fall victim to drug addictions, lust, and other temptations. I am not saying that you will not struggle but you should decide to come into maturity. Maturity is confrontation. We must learn how to deal with things so we can surpass them. As children, we made plenty of mistakes. We had authoritative figures to guide us through things and correct us when we were heading in the wrong direction. The day we walk into adulthood is the day we start to be responsible for our own lives and that includes dealing with the things that are holding us back. We must leave the “child mentality” behind thinking that a bandage and a lollipop will make the scar go away because we are grown men and women with real pain. It may be easier for a child to heal because they are still developing but not the same as adults. The band-Aid must be taken off and the scars must be dealt with directly. We must grow up from “being okay” to “being healed”.

This is an excerpt from my book “Be” that I wanted to share with you all. In life, we tend sometimes to overlook the wisdom from our experiences and fail to use them as the “launching pad” for our growth. We need to “grow up” in order to “level up”. As always feel free to comment and share your thoughts!

If you are looking for something interesting to read that will inspire you to move forward and BE the change you want to see, you can purchase my book second book “BE” here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09C3RKS54

Good day, overcomers!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
