Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

Silence Kills

The more I continue to grow, the more I understand the importance of using my voice. Some things cannot be left silent. Whether that’s an unspoken dream or an unheard cry for help, we must understand that we have to speak it in order for it to be heard. To hear something properly means to “prepare to give an answer to it”. Sometimes we carry unnecessary pain because we refuse to talk about it. I am not saying air out all of your business, but schedule moments of your time to vent out the heartaches so healing can flow in. This works the same way with goals that you have. Write them out. Get them out of your head. I heard a young man say that our head is not a “storage place”, and I believe it’s the same way with our hearts as well. We are meant to release things, not harbor them inside for months, years, or even decades. Silence kills dreams. Silence kills souls. Silence kills anything that has not been spoken to. To be honest, silence is a language within itself, because it communicates death. If I’m not opening my mouth to speak life to it, then my closed mouth is speaking death to it. Be encouraged to use your voice to release the pain so you can move forward, release the dream or business plan on paper or even to a trusted friend so you can take action, and release the things you truly desire instead of settling for things (relationships, jobs, places, etc.) that you have no desire to continue.

As always feel free to comment and release your thoughts! Good day overcomers!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
