Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

My Next Chapter: Saying Goodbye to…..

As I wrote before, goodbyes are both powerful and necessary. I believe in being real with myself. I know that may sound funny to say, but in all honesty sometimes we prefer lying to ourselves about things in order to avoid pain. We rather not confront our rejection issues, triggers, or any internal conflict, but continue on wearing a mask of “fake peace”. I do not want to live my life wishing I could have let go or hoping that the pain will disappear due to my own fears and doubt. I do fear the “unknown” sometimes, but yet hunger for wholeness. I sometimes doubt that I can grow from certain situations, but yet crave maturity in how I handle life’s circumstances. So my goodbye is to…..ME

ME have been holding me back. ME have been painting these false stories of what I cannot do. ME have been allowing myself to procrastinate, become lazy, and neglect certain talents that I need to grow. ME is the one holding people hostage within my heart and must allow forgiveness to release freedom. It can be hard to admit that “you and I” are the problem, but “you and I” must come to the realization that life can get better if ‘you and I’ decide it can be. I challenge you this week to take a good look at YOU. What do you want to change? How do you need to grow/mature? Will you finally say goodbye to habits, struggles, mindsets, or even people that are hindering your life progress?

Your next chapter starts with YOU.

As always feel free to comment and share your thoughts! Good day overcomers!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
