To the Connections Bonded by Blood

I must confess my distance and heartache

Misunderstandings and wrong choices are the blame

I’m different than most, But understood by a few

Were some of you ashamed of who I am…..

In my darkest moments, I felt you were not fully there

Cried alone over my misfortune, and blamed you for the torture

Was I wrong to nail those offenses upon your shoulder?

I’m not blinded to your own troubles…..let me extend grace

Forgiveness within has melted my heart…..offenses depart

Whether or not we come back together…this love for you I will treasure

Peace & Blessings….A Person Who Will Always Share Love

I can relate when you feel some type of hurt from the people that are supposed to be close to you, and I also can relate when you don’t feel as close as to your family at times. There are things that have happened that did leave some resentment within me, but I have no right to keep holding the offense. I do understand that some family relationships will never be the same after certain events take place, and sometimes we are not as connected to some as others within the family, but we do not have to choose hatred for them. We can love and move on. We can love and keep a distance. We can love and come back together in peace. Forgiveness is release.

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
