Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

Letter to Myself (A Poem)

No more hiding the truth

To the Girl I Hurt In the Mirror

No more hiding the truth

Yes I did hurt you

Cut you deep with the shameful words

Suffocated you by placing blame around your neck

Looked into your eyes to only speak what people saw

But….tonight I wipe those tears so you can see

Forgiveness can run deeper than the pain

Take back the truth from the hands of the naysayers

Waddle in the grace God has given….No mistake

Will not seek your downfall….but for you to rise above it all

No more hiding the truth

I truly see a woman that’s ready to take on the world

Sincerely…A Person Who Loves What She Sees

Forgiving yourself can be a hard task, but it’s worth your peace to pursue. I’m learning each day to give myself some grace and not be so hard over my mistakes. I want to allow myself to walk in freedom by bestowing forgiveness upon me.

I enjoyed writing these poetic pieces about forgiveness. It honestly has helped me to let go and understand what forgiveness is. It’s time to move on and step into a new chapter of life. Forgive yourself. Forgive others. Move forward in peace…Goodnight/Early morning 😆 peeps & see ya next week!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
