Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

My Next Chapter: NO MORE COMPARISIONS

Don’t miss “your treasure”…

If I can tell my younger self one thing…it will be “Don’t miss your treasure”. The tragedy of comparison is that it causes you to miss out on YOUR OWN LIFE. I understand how powerful social media can be, but I also understand how powerful the MIND can be as well. Whatever you meditate on becomes the basis on how you live your life. I do sympathize with others that have experienced bullying or felt outcasted at one point in their lives, but when those hurtful moments are left unchecked, it causes you to fall into the trap of comparison and jealousy, and waste time striving to be someone you are not. You start to search for acceptance and transform yourself into the person that seem to fit “in the crowd”. I never want to miss out on what’s inside of me. That may sound weird to say, but it’s an obvious truth because we tend to forget that there is more to life. There is never an excuse to be like someone else when I possess the same choice to make something out of my life. When you have high standards/expectations for yourself, it will bother you when you settle to meet someone else’s low outlook on life. I can’t allow past wounds to suffocate my new future. It does not matter what someone else is doing in their life or how amazing their life may appear to be; you have to master being YOU, because no one else was assigned to.

As always feel free to comment and leave your thoughts…OAN: The photo for this post was from my birthday photoshoot!!….I love making memories…

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
