Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

Broken Stories (A Short Poem)

When I look at my broken mirror…I SEE YOU

The same tears. The same decisions. I AM YOU.

No room for misplaced judgment….I HURT LIKE YOU.

We all have stories that need real redemption

Not pointing fingers or dismissing feelings

Thankful for the Savior that brings beauty to broken pieces…

Good morning peeps! On this morning, my mind is geared toward peace. Peace comes when we release…that can mean different things for different people. On last night, I was praying about anger that I was experiencing from past situations and asking God to help me release it. Earlier this morning, I decided to attend my church’s online prayer call and the person that was praying was talking about forgiving yourself. He went on to say that some of us are having a hard time forgiving others because we haven’t quite showed that same forgiveness to ourselves. Whether you were the one that was offended or the offender, forgiveness is what you need in order to be free. Forgiveness is a daily choice that I must choose to walk in. We all are human beings trying to navigate this life through all of the roller coaster emotions we feel, and with that understanding, we should be quick to forgive. Happy Tuesday!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
