Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

I Trust (A Poem)

This is my prayer…Lead me to peace

This is my prayer…Lead me to peace

No defying the “peaceful engagements”…

Burning the cords to “peaceless” connections

No rushing into circles of commonality

Binding my covenant with “fitted” individuals

No orchestrating long term stories with dysfunction

Allowing myself to move on from past’s poison

Peace in my direction….My prayer for today

Lately, my prayer has been to connect with the right people. The Right Spouse. The Right Friends. The Right Partnerships. The Right Environments. All of this boils down to being truly fitted. I believe some of us are prone to “forcing” things. It is not wise to connect with just anyone, but you have to be intentional. I’m not saying to be “standoffish” but find people that can truly help you along your life journey. To be honest, I think one of the reasons a person can be “standoffish” is because of their previous interactions with the ‘wrong people”, but you can become healed by surrounding yourself with the “right people”. I have to trust God that He will lead me the right people around as well as trust Him to heal me in a way that my heart will not close up to the people He sends. Good day, peeps!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
