We do not have a house BUT ASHES
We cannot repair a wreck but accept the accident
There is no looking back to scorched memories
Our paths have diverted into opposing directions
You chose conflict; I choose peace
So goodbye to the old life that tried to killed ME….

The wonderful thing about “growing up” is that you have an opportunity to gain a different perspective at each age. Like I said before, I am not the same woman in my 30s as I was in my 20s. I do not agree with certain things I did back then, but at the same time, I do agree with some steps I took early so I will not have to suffer in certain areas now. When you decide to “mature” in life, you discipline yourself to stop making choices based off emotions and choose a direction that will lead you to a prosperous end. I thank God for growth because I had a bit of a rebellious and stubborn side to me. After seeing the aftermath of my rebellious attitude and stubborn ways, I had to abandon the “old me” and embrace “what I can be”. Good day overcomers!
