Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

Embracing the New

Do not fear. This is a daily reminder to myself that I do not have to be afraid when approaching new territory i.e. a new degree program, new connections, navigating life with new tools (not worry or fear), etc. It is easy to become fearful when new opportunities come your way or when new decisions need to be made to launch you into a new space in your life. Stepping into the unknown means giving up control. When you give up control, you are able to embrace the new. Soooo….

Do not fear. Step into the new friendship, give up control of the old narrative, and embrace the compassion, loyalty, and value this new person brings into your life.

Do not fear. Step into the new business venture, give up control of the doubts and past failures replaying in your mind, and embrace both the ups and downs that will come with this new pursuit as you will soon reap the bountiful blessings through your newfound work ethic. (DREAM BIG….stop doubting that it can be done)

Do not fear. Step into the new degree program, give up control of people’s expectations for your life, and embrace the new level of success emerging from your decision to advance.

Do not fear. Step into the season of finding/waiting for “YOUR RIGHT FIT”, give up control of anger, unforgiveness and past exes, and embrace the beautiful addition that this person will be to your life…..(…hey singles do not be afraid of marriage…speaking to myself as well 😆)

Do not fear. Step into your new season in life, give up control of the old, and embrace the newness.

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
