Blame and guilt can easily rob us of our decision to choose better. We are indeed still making a decision when we choose to blame someone else’s for our issues or choose to dwell on past mistakes which lead us to complacency or self-loathing. One truth that has been somewhat challenging to accept is that people cannot live my life for me. I have wasted time worrying over what people said, expecting others to accept my life decisions “joyfully”, and basically making people “god” in my life. We cannot blame people for our lives, when they have their own lives to live as well.
Being double-minded does not make you an “open” person, but a person void of both accountability and responsibility. You do not want to be responsible for your response to the aftermath of a decision you made, and you do not want to be held accountable for making decisions for your own life. It is simply an endless cycle of wasted time. Make today the day that You Decide. Decide that you will follow the path that will lead to life…not to death of……your dreams, your peace, your voice to break free, your life.
A prosperous and fulfilled life lies in your decision.
