Here Are Your Flowers (Short Poem)

I was confronted with fear…you helped me to let go

I was surrounded by doubt….you pushed me to move on

Some seek a crowd but I live for that ONE encouraging voice

While others crave the validation….I push beyond the box

I will play my part in this world as a “shining light”

Because you are the reason why I embraced my true calling

I wrote this poem out of appreciation because I can’t help but to think about the people who have supported me. Even though this is a small blog now, I enjoy putting my writing out there and sharing with you all. Outside of my blog, I’m trying to pursue other things and grateful for the people that are supporting me in those endeavors. Appreciate everyone that has checked me out, and yes, I’m going to find time to support back. (I love the writing community.) Don’t forget to show appreciation to those who support you….no matter how many, even it’s just one…that’s still someone that believe in you so keep pushing! Good day!

People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
