You Made It #mondaylove

Happy Monday! I’m starting this new week with a new writing schedule, and I feel ecstatic! So, I wanted to drop some words of encouragement for you as we go into a week of good conversation.

One of the hardest things that I believe a lot of people struggle at is “letting go of the PAST”. Yes, I had my share of struggles with this as well, because of the PAST that I endured. It’s easy to tell a person to “get over it” but fail to realize that person have not done the work to “get over it”. On the other hand, we sometimes struggle with the idea that “The Past Is Over”. Those horrific events or embarrassing moments have passed on. You MADE IT. This one statement can act as a key to you letting go of what was. Some of us have put in the work but struggle with the voice of condemnation. There are others that are afraid to put in the work, because they believe that living in freedom is a myth. Be encouraged to LET GO. Hoping, praying, or even wishing for a new season is wasted time if we keep allowing the Past to take residence in our hearts. You moved past the bad relationship. You moved on from the past toxic environment. You conquer the last failure. Truthfully, we do not need a reminder from the Past about the things we done, but a testimony about what we overcome.

You Can GET OVER IT. You Can Start Again. You Can Start NEW. You Can Trash the Past for GOOD.

As always, feel free to comment and share your thoughts!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
