Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

“I’m Used to the Scars” #selftalk

It is very easy to get excited about starting new things until Doubt and Fear enter the conversation. Sometimes those voices of doubt and fear are not from present moments but from past scars. If you were use to being picked on in the past or use to being abused or neglected in the past, you tend to face new ventures with this mindset of “failure”. Yes, this has been a personal battle of mine as well. From time to time, I like to call my readers or the people who enjoy this content “overcomers” because I understand the journey of becoming free from certain things. It is important that we confront the conversations that we have with ourselves because we can be limiting our own potential due to old wounds. I can’t settle for the usual beliefs of “I’m used to being talked about…”, “I’m used to being overlooked…”, and “I’m used to being treated this way….”. Those limiting beliefs are only excuses. My progress in life should not be dictated by old memories because those old memories belong to the Past not my Future.

Have any thoughts….please feel free to share! Enjoy your day overcomer!

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
