Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

Month of March: Changing Spaces

Earlier this month, I celebrated my birthday and subsequently took a week off from posting blog posts. Now, I am back and ready to share!

A while back, I shared that I will be relocating due to the end of my work contract, whether that is moving out of state or to another nearby city. As I embark on this new change in my life, I also had to accept the fact that I need to change. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes we hope that the “environment” we choose will change us before we make that choice to change on the inside first. Before the move, I have to decide that I am ready to grow and learn even more in my life. You can move cross country or right down the street, but if you have not committed to changing your mindset, habits, or way of doing things then you are just going through the same cycle all over again. I have nothing against moving to new places. I am all for exploring new cities and states because it is good to expose yourself to experiences outside of your comfort zone. Sometimes you can stop your own progress in life by only accepting what is familiar to you. During this month, the challenge that I present myself is to grow in my understanding of who I need to become in this next phase of my life. That will include changing the way I use to respond to certain triggers in my life, using the word “NO” more often so I can eliminate unnecessary stress, and conquering my fears when it comes to certain goals that I have.

So, I hope you enjoyed our little conversation for today and as always, feel free to share your thoughts below.

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
