Forget About It (Short Poem)

Bring up my past sins and watch me answer with silence

Lay out my old patterns and watch me clear the confusion

Not dwelling on who I use to be….walking in a new beginning

Guilt can be a prison….but it does not have the keys…

We can continue to play memories of “what we did” and “what we did not do” over and over in our head, but that’s not a life of real freedom. Let’s remember that we can choose to live in the Past and we can also have the choice to stop being controlled by it.
