Fear/Break Loose/

Inspiring and encouraging others to break free from what’s holding them back from a great and fulfilling life

Burning Faith (A Short Poem)

I cannot be silent when the world shouts louder

Refuse to hide in the shadows and bow to mediocrity

Why straddle the fence when you can only be on one side?

It’s black and white but I decide where to draw the line…

On the other side, I lived the ugliness of a compromised life

Then I abandon those lies to live the truth that…

I ONLY abide on my Creator’s side

In a world where there are some many opinions and so many views about everything under the sun, I chose to make up my mind and follow Jesus Christ. I do not look at the Bible as another “fairytale”, but a ‘life manual’ that can help me conquer the twists and turns of life in this world. Oftentimes, people are fearful to share their faith due to “cancel culture” and being shunned or teased by peers, but I consider myself an authentic person and seen what it is like to live a “compromised life”. I thought it will be easy to live two lives but that’s nearly impossible. So I aim to use my faith to help others see God as a friend, counselor, Savior, and ultimately enjoy a ‘down to earth’ and real relationship with Him. I refuse to be silent. I have a voice. I am not ashamed of the life I CHOSE to live. Be firm in your convictions or die to the compromises…

About Me

Hi..My name is ShuCora Walker. No, I am not the woman in the picture, but my words represent people like her. People who love good conversations. People who enjoy sharing their life stories. People who tell the truth to not only inspire but to heal, learn, and grow. I have been writing since my preteen years and found peace in letting my heart bleed out on the paper through my words. The focus of my writing has always been to share stories of triumph, struggles, and faith because God is the reason why I write. I remember at one point that I wanted to take my life, but God deemed it not to be because He still had a purpose for my life. Now, I am using my words to share my life journey so others can learn from it. Yes, one day I plan to open up this platform to other writers so we can continue to learn from different experiences of life. So, this is a space for anyone seeking to live a life of real freedom and enjoy some good moments along the way…
